Gods!

The land was harsh as the people fought

to establish a homeland

somewhere they could raise their families

in a landscape so barren

where the weather was so distressing

the civilisations will suppressing!

 

From the skies lightning and objects fell

the people afraid by Gods hand

were being punished for not praying

or showing enough humility

open to the elements they struggled to live

hoped someday God would forgive!

 

Giant beasts rose from the sea attacking them

and from the fiery land they came

millions died armies came from the stars

the multitude thought them gods

come to carry out their retribution on the meek

retaliation upon their cruelty did seek!

 

Were tiring of the mass slaughter fought back

realising maybe these were devils

not angels of their Lord as blood ran like rivers

tribes were formed with armies

that protected their own some were strong

and more earthly powers did long!

 

Soon there were areas of poor who did not grow

more suited to being servants

others were the masters who loved to lead

were stronger and looked different

created weapons that could destroy anything

with fear oppression did it bring!

 

So it remains the threat  upon a fragile Earth

as doubt grows on our origins of birth!

Celebrate!

As billions of humans plan to celebrate

the birth of their gods only son

this ritual revered over the centuries

those considered poor in an evil society

struggle to pay their ever-increasing bills

or survive soaring financial pressures

from the leaders of the mega rich empire

wealth and oppression their desire!

 

The rich will not have to fear cold weather

their many homes will be warm

nor the hunger at the mercy of landlords

shrinking budgets of social services

with those solely relying on charity and pity

told there’s no money as more billionaires

grow blighting this decaying merciless society

filled with more beings of notoriety!

 

A society constantly under attack from enemies

that we are told are all around us

nobody safe in towns cities or our countryside

soldiers and paramilitary police

fill the streets people forever feel under threat

earthquakes tornadoes and major fires

lights noises and unidentified craft fill the skies

what hidden agendas does this all disguise?

 

In a climate of continual warnings of our end times

as the few get richer and more suffer

the facts are never told and the majority are ruled

by those who do not care or understand

and money that could save any suffering is spent

on a more deadly frightening arsenal

of lethal weapons to destroy now in robotic control

for they are without emotions and soul!
