Clearly Visible!

None of us noticed the lights increasing

clearly visible at night

wrapped up in our own every day lives

the numbers above grew

those observing assumed stars shinning

but it clearly defining?

 

Why the military forces seemed to ignore

became a disturbing fact

soon realising they had to be totally aware

what these objects were

as usual people were told misinformation

the truth no indication!

 

You could understand not wanting to panic

most at first accepted the lies

but as the lights came closer what they were

clear for everybody to see

years of unexplained objects being denied

no longer did they hide!

 

The sky became filled with unidentified craft

not attacked as seen in films

freely flying high above as if they lived here

then the army moved in

and the society we knew changed over night

we found out our plight!

 

Small objects began to land on the ground

creatures emerged in mass

human military and leaders seemed at ease

what was going on we cried

confused and scared were told all was well

the facts now they would tell!

 

That these aliens had been here before man

living a coexistence with us

and those stories of bases seen on the moon

were true contact was made

now it was time to come from the darkness

and cooperation to caress!

 

To the now traumatized masses doubt was rife

so far no violence or threat

though dividing of the population soon began

and these aliens took control

unnerving and sinister what was under way

what future nightmares would play?

 

Strange feelings like prisoners in an open prison

we witnessed a genetic change

daily life goes on but as thousands disappear

returning acting different

or physically altered features you could see

what was our futures going to be?

 

Is  the fact all along we are just an alien experiment?
