Historic!

From within their home felt a strong presence

yet nothing seemed out of sync

the interior became illuminated a piercing light

shone into their back garden

their gaze drawn upwards to a majestic display

clouds formed of rainbow colours

changing shapes as if an angelic glorious rave

to the magnificence were its slave!

 

As though their minds were being manipulated

spellbound their eyes fixed

over the vast historic wilderness others gathered

some praying others recording

this mystical aerial pageant filled them with alarm

use to seeing flying objects

of unknown origin leaving everybody confounded

as their hold on reality pounded!

 

As the event had started it was now gone from sight

exhausted as if the spell was lifted

they retreated back into their homes to at last sleep

but there was still a distant sound

of voices like a perfect pitched choral choir singing

or this was what they perceived

high above them lights darted at super sonic speed

below ley lines were deeply laid!

 

These unbelievable images increasing is it a warning

of mans evil by a greater being us scorning!

Or could there be truth in the threat of aliens existing

whatever the phenomena is persisting!

Imposing!

It had an imposing image for a new hospital

though in developement accidents

during construction of the district infirmary

even on its opening day

injuries caused by more structural damage

was annoying at this stage!

 

Nothing would get in the way of the progress

prestige pride most of all money

forced the building on no matter the sacrifice

only a few knew the real truth

how it was pushed through breaking the law

not for a second did they pause!

 

The land was not of a suitable consistency

as beneath it had been excavated

some years before an object was retrieved

quickly by an unknown group

who arrived rapidly taking it from the site

in the middle of a summer’s night!

 

Locals were never informed of what it was

or who had whisked it away

rumours of an alien craft and high radiation

were never answered

it had always had a mystical evil reputation

and a strong feeling of intimidation!

 

Nobody would go near the open land in fear

so it caused a huge debate

when the new hospital was then approved

now the day was finally here

its doors were opened and with trepidation

entered with a nervous hesitation!

 

Impressed by the splendour they gathered

in the huge entrance lobby

the medical director was on a raised podium

cynically smiling at them

the commotion was faint at first few heard

soon none could hear a word!

 

Staff not at the opening started shouting

as if warning of danger

screams became shrill as the groups met

mayhem rapidly ensued

creatures like large moths were overhead

swooping as people fled!

 

Grabbing anybody with their long claws

taking them up high

dropping them on to the polished floor

crashing onto the crowd

those who could get out were attacked

beasts with weapons hacked!

 

From the grounds other snake-like things

slid towards those trapped

senior directors tried to make a getaway

found there was no escape

with so many of the dignitaries present

were hell bound sent!

 

As it had begun it ended the beasts vanished

leaving devastation behind

everyone concerned with its creation had gone

the hospital was unsafe

those still alive got away never to return here

a supernatural power involved clear!

 

It now stands abandoned a reminder of events

a grotesque cursed building

that only the foolish would even contemplate

approaching let alone enter

strange sightings and weird sounds reported

sceptics say natural sounds distorted!

 

No explanation for the events have been given

for investigators their curiosity is driven!

Rods Friend Or Foe?

What is around us that cannot be seen

as our sight has such a limited vision.

We are arrogant to think we are alone

a concept difficult for us to comprehend.

Do life forms called Rods occupy space

here on earth is it also their home base?

Moving rapidly we  are unable to see them

only on camcorders and fast shuttered cameras

Are they of this earth or of alien origin

it is claimed they can fly in outer space

In and out of tornadoes even storm clouds

freely in the forests and amongst the crowds.

Some reckon they are merely birds or insects

though the shapes plainly do not match.

None to date have actually been caught

nor communication between us made.

The origins of these beings is an enigma

mystical and elusive raising that mystery bar

What forces encompass us that we do not know

are they real if yes are they friend or foe?
