Soldiers!

Soldiers are sent by their countries to fight

to some terrible places both near and far

violent spots where their lives are in plight

the chance each could be in a state of mar

there ordered to keep their nations free

amongst the carnage cannot always be!

 

Millions have died away from home shores

whoever the foe too often not able to stop

what is their hidden agenda we do not know

more difficult to define part of a financial crop

as in the past battles were fought one to one

easy to tell bystanders from those with a gun!

 

Pressure’s mounting as casualties are returned

nobody is certain of the true figures out there

the general public are getting very concerned

strong support for our soldiers they are aware

according to the fake media reporting each day

our lads are not being treated with fair play!

 

So many young soldiers lost in unjust warfare

families bereaved not knowing the facts

the slaughter never seems to come to an end

as the conflicts in the world evermore trend!

On Edge!

Strange atmosphere as society on itself encloses

everybody is on edge in society

trust between people is lacking aggression grows

so many acts of terrorism

only days between incidents has got them scared

for this onslaught not prepared!

 

What has changed so dramatically this last year

the poor left reeling perplexed

who is the real enemy hiding within the shadows

ready to harm the innocent bystander

without mercy or conscience

every media outlets twenty four seven repeating

information our sanity beating!

 

What is real anymore as people turn against friends

family suspicious of each other

violence on the streets is growing society unsettled

basic rights are failing for many

what will happen next nobody seems to understand

is  the third world war at hand?

Accident?

The official report read an accident

for the loss of many lives

found dead in the dense forest

what was the real cause

mass suicide the police did imply

some felt this was a lie!

 

Information withheld from the public

a team sent to cover up

as these unexplained deaths increased

all media was censored

truth never reached the public domain

so the deception did remain!

 

Maybe some sinister force does rule

but the population do not see

what is happening before their eyes

believing stories they are told

images before them taken as real fact

their lives secretly hijacked!

Space Station!

It was supposed to be just another routine shift

on the orbiting space station

as it majestically circled the earth far below

with spectacular surface views

the astronauts within prepared for a heavy day

unaware of what was on the way!

 

Instruments indicated systems were functioning

nothing had been detected

ground control contacted to tell them an object

had been picked up on radar

approaching their position on a collision course

no idea what it was or its source!

 

What concerned them it had just suddenly appeared

to rapid for a comet or asteroid

thoughts loomed of alien activity always a possibility

plans had always been prepared

closer now communications were severed with earth

the escape pod broke from its berth!

 

The crew of eight men and women totally stranded

as the shape loomed into sight

blocking out the intense sunlight then a sudden jolt

vibration as if being drawn

towards this unidentified mass outside the thin hull

as pain filled each skull!

 

From earth’s ground control they could only listen

and view the images on monitors

revealing to them it was a spaceship of colossal size

uncertain at what could be done

if missiles were fired it could create a counter stroke

no way could they provoke!

 

Helpless the object retreated into the depths of space

yet knowing it would return

so far the situation had been censored from the media

how long could it be contained

without knowledge of what events were formulating

earth’s leaders forced into waiting!

 

But for years in secret invasion scenarios created

in anticipation of such a day

these plans were put into action military on alert

for civilisations destruction

limited information was given to the baying media

so as not to cause fear!

 

The wait for the forthcoming invasion had begun!

Moon!

In an observatory the telescope was pointed

to view earth’s moon

objects were seen coming from the dark side

like flashes of intense light

each seemed to arc towards our small planet

how could this threat be met?

 

Alarmed at these unexplained close sightings

contacting other observatories

who had also seen the busy UFO activity

what could they do

panic spread in the scientific community

what could the phenomena be?

 

Fearful this could be the awaited invasion

a prediction widely held

not just amongst the general population

but also major nations

who in public denied aliens really existed

just imagination they insisted!

 

The moon was so near they nervously gazed

each agency could only wait

hours passed turning into many weeks

yet nothing came into range

these craft were still coming and going

as the tension was growing!

 

Space telescopes and spy tracking satellites

came up totally blank

this was no comfort without clear answers

a threat it could leak

reporters sensed a major crisis being muted

any information polluted!

 

But as the media began to realise the danger

events rapidly took over

security communication systems failed

a silent enemy approached

a defence friend could be quiet no more

telling me the score!

 

Sitting in a deep bunker with the privileged few

as an overwhelming enemy

had attacked the population without warning

and now control earth

sadness filled my heart at this dark hour

as now here I cower!

 

There is a resistant force have just been told

but the aliens are ruthless

my intention is to try and make contact soon

to link up with them

this is my planet to we cannot let them win

my journey will soon begin!
