Deep Feeling!

That deep feeling of doom gripped her as she entered

the vast busy rail station terminal

on her way to see friends she had not seen for years

everything seemed well as she waited

for the train to arrive sat happily as people hurried by

hoping the time would fly!

Started to doze having to get up so early still so tired

but thoughts of panic soon woke her up

a chill slowly descended on her body so had to stand

everything seemed to be hyper sensitive

footsteps the people talking everything was hazy

was she actually going crazy!

Tried calling he sister but there was no signal at all

looking up at the time-table board

saw the train was due in made her way to the track

pulling her case on tiny wheels

even that was heavier than normal just wanted rest

there was a deep memory suppressed!

Placed her case in the luggage rack near carriage door

a little easier in the comfortable seat

how her head now hurt what could she not remember

could not recall what she did last night

began to feel tense as the train pulled out the station

her blank mind causing frustration!

As the train picked up speed she had flashes of images

like a bullet hit her confused brain

saw a man making love with her both stark naked

images of an object put in her case

handed a mobile telephone told she must get the train

her composure she must maintain!

Those early feelings of well-being were now long gone

she was here for another purpose

who was she really somebody had got into her mind

the mobile started to ring loudly

a text message simply read it is your time this day

then clearly knew no running away!

It was a loud explosion that rocked the quiet town!

Band Of Seven!

Strapped into seats on the federation prison craft

held tight and secure waited

classed as dangerous rebels on a one way trip

to a distant prison colony

on a barren planet inhospitable and volcanic

to those there seemed satanic!

Somewhere that nobody had ever returned

they glanced knowingly

none had any intention of heading there

all had a chance to meet

when on remand a plan was secretly devised

their escape had been analysed!

Even in the far off future money was power

these fugitives soon to be

freedom fighters against a brutal federation

this prophecy yet to be realized

their shackles released by a bribed guard

who provided an override card!

The band of seven were now on the loose

a distraction had been arranged

one an expect locksmith and known thief

guided them to the escape pods

soon after a short skirmish they ejected

from their prison disconnected!

Into the void now with freedom flew

yet with huge uncertainty

their plan to get away from injustice

though two were criminals

united as one their bravery did tower

against a vast corrupt power!

Agitators to be removed orders given

by the supreme leader

false charges to make it legal for arrest

had to continue their opposition

now fleeing hoping for a miracle to show

their supporters to grow!

With their captors beginning to close in

before them a vast space craft

loomed into the groups disbelieving gaze

huge just drifting in space

its awesome design made their skin prickle

the adrenaline no longer a trickle!

Weary in their approach in case it was a trap

found the airlock and boarded

soon realising this was an abandoned ship

the gods had smiled upon them

certain a powerful force guided their actions

this the first of their infractions!

Entering the bridge in awe of this alien design

ancient technology yet superior

to any of the federations space battle cruisers

without touching anything it lit up

a voice in english welcomed the new captain

and crew to the Libertain!

Their crusade for justice and liberty had begun

now they fight or die until victory won!

At hyper speed the seven headed the charge!

Text!

The smart phone loudly whistled in her handbag

indicating she had a message

thinking it was the boyfriend sending a text

was very eager to read it

found two creepy anonymous words written

her pulse did quicken!

It just simply read “Fear Me” what did it mean

glancing around suspiciously

at everybody she could see in the noisy bar

most were dancing or drunk

kept the text from the group but stayed close

inside was becoming morose!

As those around became evermore inebriated

began to feel really isolated

she received another message “You Look Nice”

this put her into a hyper state

sounds and actions bombarded her senses

increasing preservation defenses!

Unlike the rest of her friends was not drunk

at first thought it a prank

now seemed to be more sinister a real threat

those feelings of paranoia

began to eat at her rationality had to be alert

or could be fatally hurt!

Those once friendly faces had become suspects

she just wanted to leave

the others never noticed her cautiously go

jumped as another text

had been sent reluctantly read what it said

panicky “To My Arms You Tread”!

Near the exit she recognised the doorman

had once gone out with him

felt a little awkward every time they met

but had to tell somebody

showed him the text asked him to stay near

thinking the sender maybe here!

She phoned for a taxi her ex said he would wait

as it was his break

noticed how close he had become touching

backing slowly away

realised it was him went onto the street to wait

thoughts of the moment to collate!

The taxi seemed to be taking a long time to come

a tightness around her arm

hurting knew this was the man she had trusted

forcibly was pushing her

into an alley saying he never wanted them to part

wanted to have a fresh start!

Tried to break free from his superior strength

heard a familiar voice call

her boyfriend was here managed to shout loudly

as he came into view the man

let the woman go free into the boyfriend’s arms

ran to his welcoming charms!

Together left arms linked still filled with a dread

at what might have been

it would be months before the events could tell

changing the phone number

never venturing back to that once familiar bar

it left a permanent mental scar!

Twelve months later the man she had once known

was found dead circumstances unknown!
