Vidual!

Two of them sat on camping chairs

in the dank foul-smelling cellar

part of a paranormal investigation

as it neared the midnight hour

an infra-red camera was recording

both the atmosphere absorbing!

 

In the dark could not see only hear

or by touch to get a little comfort

to check they were still side by side

for the vidual on this frosty night

wrapped up warm yet apprehensive

at this hour both were pensive!

 

One a true believer in the supernatural

the other of a more sceptical mind

calling out questions into the vacuum

with a digital recorder switched on

hoping to gather any audible sound

of possible spirits earthbound!

 

 

Their session was to last for one hour

every tap or bang magnified

their fears and imagination heightened

at base unit were observed

 

on infrared in the dark an apparition

with clarity came into vision!

 

At fifteen minutes played back to listen

the same moment of sighting

heard loud growls that made them shiver

and a voice of an angry man

telling them to get out now then a soft cry

followed by a whimpering sigh!

 

Neither could see the image of the female

but smelt perfume all around

followed by the camera and tripod falling

unable to take anymore fled

from the cellar certain there was a presence

the feeling something was there intense!

 

Further investigation of the phenomena

continues in the cellar of the house!
