Lady In Blue!

She was alone in silence by the bar

this was what witnesses said

who frequented this ancient inn

thought to be a woman murdered

centuries ago in a sordid history

where travellers were robbed

then were quickly eliminated

while they slept in the bed!

 

It was popular with investigators

who often spent many days

with equipment set up to seek out

the truth if it was to be found

of hauntings in the spooky hostelry

filled with a dark hostility!

 

Regulars had become used the events

of glasses being violently thrown

furniture moving seemingly unaided

few said they had seen spirits

the Lady in Blue or was it the alcohol

as it happened after nightfall!

 

Many came to explore the phenomena

some say they caught voices

or recorded odd shapes within the dark

but the footage was not clear

glass falling on security camera caught

made the hunt for spectres fraught!

 

Many do feel other realms surround us

more groups and television shows

seek that indisputable evidence of proof

but what is fact and what is fiction

when a deceased soul has been reached

and proof has been confirmed

maybe my sceptical open-minded bias

will make my outlook more pious!

 

I observe this society and await that moment!

Vocal!

He had been a vocal critic of the government

trying to expose their lies

that the people accepted as the gospel truth

knew he was being watched

certain it was not paranoia nowhere to hide

his privacy was being denied!

 

His video channel censored and taken down

found it hard to be heard

began to feel his life maybe in grave danger

still determined to speak out

as agents began rapidly closing in on him

knew getting real facts out slim!

 

Began to shut himself away kept in contact

with the others in his circle

who became known as the hard resistance

telling what was really going on

with little success as the public in a bubble

unable to see they were in trouble!

 

Most wrapped up in themselves unable to see

a bigger picture of a society

those divided and trapped by social injustice

wars destruction of nations

where the innocent were continually dying

as upon us all they were spying!

 

He was a sincere man who loved his family

but he was found with his wife

daughter and pet dog slaughtered at home

the official line he was the killer

murdering them then committing suicide

but his friends knew they had lied!

 

All his files and documents were missing

yet the conspiracy was accepted

for most of the population it was shocking

a tragedy but what happened

main news outlets clearly said it was true

so no official enquiry would ensue!

Microwave Towers!

For some years they had taken no notice

of the ever-increasing microwave towers

that seemed to be erected everywhere

any enquiries told for improved coverage

of cell phone signals as demand increased

or the wi-fi speed had to be much faster

this the public had to accept as being true

knowing pointless for answers to pursue!

 

But as the numbers alarmingly escalated

and illness there  began to rapidly surge

animals also became lethargic and died

fear really set in when people succumbed

readings were taken to show microwave

output was right off the instruments scale

yet the authorities remained insensitive

as helplessly the became radioactive!

 

 

As those death waves continued to bombard

there was no recourse nor legal MasterCard!

Hit!

Felt that hard tap on his back and was annoyed

plenty of room for him to get by

as the man who came in only washed his hands

leaving as if it were planned

was he a victim thought it odd could not forget

over the day began to fret!

 

The spot he was hit rapidly became very sore

nausea soon overwhelmed him

became bedridden anxious as his poor condition

began to recall that encounter

with an increasing haze of a debilitating fever

in conspiracy theories a believer!

 

True had expressed his thoughts in his own blog

of events certain were staged

but until that moment never imagined the risk

would warrant a professional hit

knew nobody would accept this was the case

any evidence there would be no trace!

 

Rushed to hospital he could just make the call

doctors pondered his symptoms

within two days body weak total organ failure

on autopsy a faint mark detected

a tiny puncture wound a trace substance found

knew his life was outbound!

 

Cremated death certificate read cause undermined

but in his mind knew as he died

was another victim who came far too near the truth

trying to spread his theories

that was not within the authorities agenda to allow

he was just another fatality now!

Origin!

knew how to chat with its mesmerizing voice

they listened to every single word

those that survived this unsuspecting ordeal

were never able to remember

nor realise this creature was not of earthly origin

or true identity under its false skin!

 

The aliens had lived here before humans existed

they who created that spark of life

thought themselves the creators a superior race

overseeing the ancient experiment

in their philosophy were the gods of their domain

their identity hidden by artificial membrane!

 

Freely walking amongst us undetected in control

the eyes of the people clouded

in a mind controlling environment were guided

to see only what the aliens wanted

being assisted by chosen human who did collude

to make sure the masses were subdued!

 

But there was a rebellion of disbeliever’s who felt

the society that surrounded them

may not be the reality they had always assumed

many began to see their true form

reports of aliens described as greys being seen

making more think life is a smoke screen!

 

An awakening of countless people all around earth

concerned at sightings above and below

lights unexplained objects of increasing numbers

with no plausible explanation being given

increasing millions were becoming rapidly curios

making authorities nervous and furious!

 

Is there a resistance evolving around this situation

to most they continue on oblivious

can this be actually happening or another theory

proof has yet to be confirmed

explanations or denial there is much still unknown

how long before their hand is shown?

Relaxing Day!

It had been a beautiful relaxing day

unfamiliar rumbles irritating

she thought was a distant storm

sat watching television

her phone vibrated on silent mode

more than normally glowed!

 

The air within her neat home crackled

electric shocks made her wince

it was not an ordinary day she knew

bright fork like lightning exploded

wrecking the area in which she resided

what with her world had collided?

 

Like a pulse wave electricity had gone

as craft appeared in the skies

now filling the once blue cloudless space

planes crashed to the ground

a crescendo of ear-splitting sounds

upon her sanity pounds!

 

Then creatures swamped the landscape

overwhelming any resistance

as people were eliminated from earth

predictions were ignored

nobody believed it could be a fact

with aliens to really interact!

 

So many movies and television dramas

bombarding us with CGI

apathetic to the chance it was a warning

this was a coming threat

until the moment of the actual event

when humanity to hell was sent!

Appearance!

Their demeanor always seems so serene and sweet

immaculate in manners and poise

most its said are members of the so-called elite

who cause little attention or noise

even a television series about them was created

what they are is often debated!

 

Conspiracy believers chatter about an alien race

who control what we think

the concept lizard beings hid behind a human face

they say there’s a positive link

known personalities from our crumbling network

amongst them the beasts do lurk!

 

Is this a fact or another strange unfounded plot

leaves that question of doubt

can we really classify this in aliens rule us slot

will the truth ever come out

but even the hint this maybe an actual event

in the fabric of sanity makes a big dent!

Life! (1984)

Life is very short this is true

when time is up there’s nothing we can do

no matter how painful this may seem

this is one true fact that has always been

when the lord calls us into his fold

we can do nothing but do as we are told!

 

Many of us cannot understand

when we die we go to a greater land

there are many young people who are lost

and they are heavily paying the cost

all searching for truth and purpose

lots have sunk so low and will never surface!

 

Creating a world of vice and violence

that causes a long festering silence

the human race never seems to learn

but continues to constantly yearn

to kill innocent  people for some cause

without even taking a short pause!

 

Few see the pointlessness of it all

no doubt to end in another global war!

 

Nothing changes as years pass man is the same!
