Almighty Glory!

There they stand in their almighty glory

feeling above the rest of mankind

in truth they are but bland and gory

yet prone in time to be defined

observed as lines and cracks appear

wealthy their true selves to hide

being afraid the media will not be near

non exposure would dent their pride!

 

How they play the part of the megastar

shinning their light at every chance

money keeps their egos high near and far

thinking nothing will stop their advance

some survive the power and glory of fame

many only a glimpse before the glow fades

blending into oblivion all seem the same

outside of the celebrity trades!

 

How many can we truly believe we admire

some grow old with grace and dignity

others controversial who have dark hearts

who seem to have untimely life endings

that cannot be explained leaving speculation

that leads to open confrontation

its said sold their souls to the devil for fame

mind-controlled who is really to blame?

 

Living in a another realm to the so-called fans

seem oblivious to any facts revealed

all accepted as gods who can never do wrong

for them no luxury they struggle to live

going to any lengths and prices to see their heroes

whose lives may not be as shown in media

false plastic make up covering all deceit and lies

hidden the extent of the real sacrifice!

 

Am I just rambling or is the truth within my thoughts?

Diner!

Apart from the diner sign flashing on then off

all seemed the same as the sheriff

got out of his new patrol car for his breakfast

thought it quiet his gut twitching

not for food but always alerted him to a threat

it had never let him down yet!

 

Most of the vehicles he recognised as regulars

but old Tozer the owners dog

was not barking at anybody coming into park

on the radio tried to be discreet

in contacting for backup knew he should wait

the situation did not want to aggravate!

 

Unusual but could not get through to his office

his gut twisted even tighter

quietly released his shotgun from its mounting

would have to go in all alone

taking small steps headed for the rear entrance

strongly sensed a presence!

 

Rear door was open stepped over the threshold

expecting to find anything

nobody in the kitchen afraid to breathe explored

though it was a total mess

through to seated area uneasy could smell coffee

charred bacon but bodies could not see!

 

Food crockery and furniture strewn over the floor

as if it had been violently thrown

but the mirror behind the counter was undamaged

so were the panoramic main windows

knew he would have normally at this hour been here

but was delayed as on the road a stray steer!

 

Pondering what had caused this major crime scene

the radio crackled his heart jumped

it was the desk sergeant to inform him of a sighting

of a UFO in his present location

then communications gone once more frustrated

went back outside becoming agitated!

 

Looked upwards it was clear then heard the dog yelp

there was a large trailer close by

where the owner lived ran to the distressing sound

there the animal lay cowering

its neck bleeding from tugging at the choker chain

petrified so pitiful and inhumane!

 

Where the animal was gazing he could see an object

shimmering blinding him in the sunlight

raising his weapon started towards the silvery shape

knew its must be what had been reported

a hum was noticeable his head seemed to explode

found himself in the craft mind on overload!

 

At that moment the desert ambience was shaken

by sirens of a police convoy

that soon arriving at the diners remote location

circling it greeted by silence

just as the sheriff had discovered it damaged

as if somebody the place rampaged!

 

Found the dog to whimpering staring at something

close by a discarded shotgun

unusual markings where an object had landed

standing unsure at what to do

when several unmarked helicopters descended

at that contact their involvement ended!

 

They were politely asked to leave now in military

jurisdiction escorted from the scene

could only be bystanders left to speculate the cause

their colleague another victim

how far did the veracity go in this massive deceit

very soon head to head they would meet!

Edge of Chaos!

Life seemed to be on the edge of chaos

misery was spreading

with the upsurge in gutter poverty

and that haunting stare

wherever you walked beggars pleading

their will to live receding!

 

Arriving home one evening there sitting

on my porch step a man

this was my first impression nearing

its shape changed before me

coming to a halt uncertain what to expect

hostility began to detect!

 

For what seemed minutes it did not move

then crawled out of view

cautiously approached there was a stain

green and foul-smelling

avoiding the substance yet very aware

that it was right there!

 

Instinct made me turn feeling a presence

the mass was at my back

just managed to escape its fateful grasp

crashing to the flower bed

running from my own house petrified

for me nowhere to hide!

 

From their desperation they were created

an abominable creation of beast

were mutated by the pollution and poverty

until that moment had never seen

just an urban legend until we collided

my emotions deeply divided!

 

Illusions gone discovering it was real not fiction

these predators humans mutated

the population grew it became an affliction

as poverty divided rich from poor

once like me a human living with family ties

with all the hidden deceits and lies!

 

Life was chaos nights became a fight for our survival!

Deep Truth!

In his mind deep thoughts teased the reality

sensed a connection with aliens

yet it stayed hidden as if not meant to know

inquisitive to find out more

read about theories that the earth was flat

it seems many believe that!

 

An illusion the stars and planets do not exist

just a hologram projection

but where did the astronauts go if not space

are we just an experiment

living on a massive sound stage or zoo

what honestly is really true?

 

Of ancient giants and united nations flag

depicting earth is not a globe

frustrated that the concepts were possible

troubled the truth not been told

as weather patterns were becoming bizarre

had mans ingenuity gone too far?

 

Or locked in the brains of every human being

the path to confirm the truth

there is an overflow of misleading information

with to many out there certain

the facts they are explaining to you are correct

and these we should not reject!

 

But where do rockets go if there is no outer space

suddenly within six months

the surge to say it’s flat and not as we were told

a spinning round mother earth

satellites for navigation and the space station

what is the real explanation?

 

Most can only believe what they are told or see

easily manipulated how to think

good and evil mega rich and increasing poverty

third world war a predication

disasters natural and created by faceless elite

and ever-present blatant deceit!
