Criticizing!

Had been vocal criticizing the authority’s

determined to uncover the facts

most of the population accepted it as truth

knew he was monitored

his whole life logged nowhere to hide

but he still had his pride!

 

All means of communication taken down

impossible to send his message

knew his very existence was now in peril

but had to tell what he knew

unseen forces began to intensify on him

honesty made his life grim!

 

Hid away so not to draw anymore attention

broke contact with others

who became a risk to the powers that ruled

to what they believed was going on

the public lived in a false state of sanctuary

accepting everything voluntary!

 

One new day nobody could contact him at all

had bravely exposed a cult

so there was a deep concern for his welfare

several members went to call

swat vehicles were there in force that day

his life had been taken away!

 

Police said they had a warrant for his arrest

thought he had gone for his gun

so had no choice but to shoot him dead

friends knew he had no weapon

but this fact was never publicly disclosed

the case was simply closed!

Vocal!

He had been a vocal critic of the government

trying to expose their lies

that the people accepted as the gospel truth

knew he was being watched

certain it was not paranoia nowhere to hide

his privacy was being denied!

 

His video channel censored and taken down

found it hard to be heard

began to feel his life maybe in grave danger

still determined to speak out

as agents began rapidly closing in on him

knew getting real facts out slim!

 

Began to shut himself away kept in contact

with the others in his circle

who became known as the hard resistance

telling what was really going on

with little success as the public in a bubble

unable to see they were in trouble!

 

Most wrapped up in themselves unable to see

a bigger picture of a society

those divided and trapped by social injustice

wars destruction of nations

where the innocent were continually dying

as upon us all they were spying!

 

He was a sincere man who loved his family

but he was found with his wife

daughter and pet dog slaughtered at home

the official line he was the killer

murdering them then committing suicide

but his friends knew they had lied!

 

All his files and documents were missing

yet the conspiracy was accepted

for most of the population it was shocking

a tragedy but what happened

main news outlets clearly said it was true

so no official enquiry would ensue!

Exhausted!

Exhausted had been a long day but not over

headed towards the second job

riding his old bike hoped it would not fail

as the rain-soaked him again

a white SUV gleaming in the street lights

pulled up beside him at a junction

the couple inside covered in bling smiling

him a source of fun providing!

 

Road clear shot away throwing up spray

it was then the distants felt

between those who had so much wealth

with those who struggled

never enough money to pay bills and eat

always on the news channels

the sportsman television and film stars

with luxury homes expensive cars!

 

Boasting of endless trips in private jets

politicians rich but taxpayers

subsidised their expenses and salaries

as they struggled to even exist

certainly not a new concept always been

those without helping the rich

controlling the masses keeping them poor

of their position always cocksure!

 

Society heads into an unpredictable future

with countless variables of surviving

what is the reality behind the smoke screen

the untold truth we shall never know

as the one percent amass ever rising wealth

where do the majority fit in

with plans of a new order where robotics rule

are we not being treated as the Fool?

Forming!

From the gentle clear blue sky

it changed in an instance

angry red clouds were forming

a crescendo of loud booms

shook the ground beneath me

yet nowhere to flee!

 

No longer that peaceful haven

familiar places burnt

searing and incandescent heat

choking smoke displaced

that sweet exhilarating pure air

in the blinding glare!

 

From a tranquil picturesque scene

into an image of a hell

no warning of impending conflict

upon this scorched earth

life eradicated profuse projectiles

of deadly nuclear missiles!

 

Then darkness filled the heavens

the survivors cowered

most dying of radiation poisoning

as the cycle had started

on a human race that never learned

the ancient planet still turned!

 

Those who had instigated Armageddon

the selected few hid below

in large underground secure cities

feeling safe and detached

from the carnage upon the surface

eradication of the human race!
