Me but a part of the whole

billions just one soul

my one passion is to write

if only for my delight

though few may ever view

to me must it must be true

wanting to share what I see

love you to join me

in a very corrupt society

filled with an anxiety

constantly under a threat

of death and debt

conspiracy theories abound

millions it does confound

what is the real truth of life

that fills us with strife?

Me just a unit of humanity

fighting for his sanity

each day a new beginning

our earth is spinning

we have always been told

most with the idea sold

this crazy society observe

myself it does unnerve

what out there should we fear

the dangers so very near

do you feel the pressure rise

as they try to demoralize

what is reality and what is not

what is the actual plot?

Spiritually

Spiritually at peace with my own being

able to face each day of toil.

Nobody to be afraid of seeing

as time passes I am slow to boil.

No more  fear of death as I age

treasure each day it could be your last.

Try to survive and escape the rage

of times with a jaded past.

Regrets may abound but they have gone

nothing can be changed is a fact.

Look to the present and be strong

life is like a play act by act.

 

Do we not all have moments of  being spiritually low?
