Island Of Hell!

Another violent institution where it’s said tormented souls have never left! The Foureyed Poet.

To the Island of hell the five now headed

visiting the long disused prison

stood ominously silent and foreboding

here to investigate the spirits

was said possessed the bricks and steel

what spectres did it conceal?

The deceased still walking within these walls

many witnesses had told

of threatening voices from those dead

prisoners there murdered

also several prison officers here as well

on the Island of hell!

Long before anything existed on the  land

native american’s  shunned it

knowing it was cursed evil roamed free

but when the prison was built

even the hardened criminals were afraid

on minds and souls evil preyed!

To this place the ghost investigation team came

to find out for themselves

if stories and experiences were actually true

none of these truth seekers

were disappointed at evidence perceived

without doubt believed!

From recorded messages to those red eyes

feeling somebody near

the moving shadow…

What haunted the old mine? The Foureyed Poet.

What brushed by me that cold night

has haunted my life ever since

was it man beast or unknown origin

exploring a shutdown mine

something held my arm for sure

it chilled me to the core!

Then worked for a mining company

checking out a report of noises

from within the blocked entrance

that was still sealed tight

native workers would not go near

cowering frozen with fear!

One brave soul came to the site

remember being really scared

with a crow bar forced the planks

blocking our way in

soon the entrance was revealed

should have stayed sealed!

A terrible pain and a deathly chill

surged through my body

as if touched by something within

upon my exposed arm

sure there was activity in the dark

on my skin a burn mark!

Overwhelmed in terror made my exit

running like a jabbering wreck

past the frightened natives a coward

Predictions Of Doom!

We can only wait for that day! The Foureyed Poet.

Are the predictions of doom founded

as the planet spins and circles

around our bright sun at a high-speed

humans trying to better nature

chaos continues to blight anything living

nature as always is never forgiving!

An endless stream of disaster scenarios

forever have been fed to the masses

can Nostradamus be the most quoted

but were his predictions too general

adapted to fit what we want to believe

making sense of tragedies we grieve!

The prophecies and deadlines pass us by

here we are still onward bound

each more dire yet do we get more blase

until another disaster stirs our anxiety

thinking is this the real prediction of doom

when our planet could be our final tomb!

Only time will tell as one day it must occur!

The Foureyed Poet.

The Copse!

It was an experience none of us would forget! The Foureyed Poet.

In the sunlight the copse seemed so fine

there had been tales

of ghostly sightings within its fencing

this was hard to believe

shadows cast as the sun shone down

leaves turning brown!

Here on an outdoor primary investigation

requiring little equipment

more observation of the sights and sounds

it was so natural in daylight

altering as darkness took over at sunset

causing that sense of threat!

The copse began to feel cold and sinister

we had worked out a route

with areas for each session to be held

natural sounds filtered in

at least for several hours it was good

then before me a figure stood!

Now we felt confused nothing was the same

our planned route not there

it became dense the dark solid and thick

wandering around in circles

ending back in the same spot we started

sad and downhearted!

Each thinking they saw shadows darting

The police our only shield against criminals and violent enemies of democracy! The Foureyed Poet.

A slow tension is it not rapidly unfolding

as our one line of defence is straining

our police force is feeling under threat

not a happy situation in such nasty days

we think the constabulary is in our debt

yet in the end the public always pays!

They are human beings like most of us

still have bills and families to care for

such a wide remit they have to bare

how the world order has changed today

are the general public completely aware

with no deterrent criminals are here to stay!

A delicate balance between good and bad

always a victim to attack with no conscience

gaining without working for honest toil

to them it is nothing more than just a thrill

society I can see is nicely coming to the boil

far to many on the streets are happy to kill!

Police our only shield against those who dare

this one fact society must always…

The Seashore

Sounds of the rolling surf

thrilled me deep down inside.

With peace on this earth

watching the fast incoming tide

the sand disappeared from sight

so did the clear daylight.

Rythmns on the lonely seashore

sent me into a trance.

The salt air once more

made me want to advance

minding the pebbles and debri

and objects you cannot see.

The powerful noisy mighty sea

surged onwards to the sand.

then it dawned upon me

you were holding my hand

in the water we stood

this moment was so good.

Water lapping at our feet

the holiday our only care.

Walking then taking a seat

together out love to share

nothing to disturb our fun

in the summer in the sun.

Whether it is in Egland or any other part of the world. It is a lovely thought to be  enjoying the wondeful sea and the sun in the company of a…

2011 in review

The stats helper monkeys prepared a 2011 annual report for this blog.

Here’s an excerpt:

A San Francisco cable car holds 60 people. This blog was viewed about 2,500 times in 2011. If it were a cable car, it would take about 42 trips to carry that many people.

A Passing Moment

Life is just a passing moment in time

we come into a harsh world alone.

Our destinies set out before each role

or do we create each chapter ourselves?

S0me of us the stories are  very long

for others only a verse of a song.

Can it be when our paths do entwine

this can alter the course of our fate.

Does each have an alloted essence

and  crossroads we must choose

Decisions and direction must be met

get it wrong you slip through the net.

Can there really be a higher power a divine being

the creator around us ever knowing ever seeing?

    The Foureyed Poet.
