Heard!

Somebody said they heard the cries

afterwards silence nothing more

gone out of character the family said

the search became desperate

only hope was all they could long

their emotions like a sad song!

 

They found her body in a dusty quarry

with no dignity in the heat

none could grasp this wicked crime

another young soul lost

her laugh that warmth to us denied

this monster her future nullified!

 

Humans have the capacity for murder

without emotion or any remorse!
