A little care is that too much to ask for today? The Foureyed Poet.

The Foureyed Poet

They flinched as a hand of friendship was shown

never knowing a genuine non violent action

the pathetic group stood each one a drone

shaking in terror each with a distraction

praying to be treated with humanity and care

walking around with no home emotions bare!

Despair was all the children had ever known

shunned no abode their bodies so frail

quiet in a state of shock not even a moan

society had somehow by passed their tale

they stood wanting that glimmer of light

that should be every body’s birth right!

I had to be the one to reach out with kindness

giving the first step to a path of hopefulness!

The Foureyed Poet.
