The Lady With Red Hair

My eyes were raised by the lady with red hair

of her presence I was aware.

Radiant and elegant you could only admire

her hair twinkling like fire.

As the sun filtered through cloudy skies

nature her gifts supplies.

Such a winning smile the lady with red hair

how I tried not to stare.

Pressurised in a busy working environment

seemingly calm and content.

Or maybe it was just my own personal view

and I had not a clue.

Was my perception of the lady with red hair

of a lonely man sat there.

Admiring the beauty that pleased the eye

watching the time go by.

Contented with the service and nice smile

enjoying company for a while.

I left happy to have met the lady with red hair.

The Foureyed Poet.
