Whether our lives are long or short
the span good or bad.
Depending in truth on the decisions
what the outcome will be.
Life’s a gamble it’s what you make it
maybe a failure or hit!
Look around there are so many of us
not all can be rich.
Those wild go getter’s bright and cold
never live until their old.
Plodders who are the backbone dependable
following every rule.
Those wanting to work and those that never will
honest souls and total crooks!
Merciful and wise who respect humanity
the emotionless and greedy!
But on top of all this we share fate
as few know their end date!
Nobody no matter how rich or important
in the end we are the same!
I often think life can be hell for some
heaven or limbo for others.
It has always been so those who struggle
those whose live’s are a ball!
Whatever is in our plan we can but follow
to often the outcome is sorrow!
But many believe our existence does not
end at our physical death!
