The Ghost Hunters!

The ghost hunters stood silently together

with a look of unpleasant surprise

at the daunting building before them

for the first time they were afraid

something was different they agreed

but knowing they had to proceed!

Scientific and with a pure sceptical view

each an experienced investigator

they were unsure as they entered

why as yet there was nothing to tell

oppressive air made their heads ache

a cold chill made bodies shake!

Sceptics and those who may truly believe

split to gain different reactions

because it was an unknown science

the set routine was followed

each session based in a haunted area

finding them being much scarier!

Where it’s said something had been recorded

voices or sounds with no explanation

in two groups seeking real evidence

waiting in the darkness cameras set

for any paranormal action to take place

instruments ready for any trace!

Through the hours spent within this building

an unknown presence strongly felt

whispering sounds bangs and dark shadows

their flesh tingled as if being touched

they could not wait for the dawn to arrive

their dread they would not survive?

Now everybody was really getting scared

equipment alarms and malfunctions

increasingly terrified just wanting to get out

eight people stood looking at each other

believers certain sceptics almost believed

but each agreed they were relieved!

From the outside again they stood it was still

so hard for this investigation to fulfill!

But after this night all had found a mutual faith!
