It was time to wave goodbye

to go our own ways

 

Being forced apart

 

Somehow we both had to cry

thinking of those happy days

But sadly short lived

being forced apart.

 

No matter where your thoughts are

but I’ll be very near

Though it may seem hard

sadly this must be.

no time to make any fuss

They could never win

You all flew out to the states

watching the plane rise

I’d miss our special dates

then I had a big surprise

Turning I saw you

feeling my heart pound.
