How frightening is the night

when the sun has set.

Life goes on in the blackness.

You may even get a bite

in night’s closing net.

Now there’s creatures stalking

when it’s dark outside.

Life goes on in the Blackness.

Are you afraid of walking

just wanting to hide.

 

Any sound seems all around

no way to escape.

Life goes on in the blackness.

Weird noises come from the ground

they take any shape.

Your heart starts to pound faster

shadows become real.

Life goes on in the blackness.

Thoughts of an unknown master

such terrors you feel.

Those nightmares have passed away

The people of the night

have gone for a while.

As you greet the morning light

ending your dream trial.
